Texas State graduates are in high demand in the Austin metro area, a region of Texas known for its substantial cluster of high-tech companies.
In partnership with local community colleges like Austin Community College, the Round Rock Campus offers students the ability to take lower-level courses at these partner schools while taking upper-level courses at TXST.
A student-centered program, graduates study programming languages, software engineering, security, data structures and algorithms, human-computer interactions, machine learning, and much more. There are also outside-the-classroom research opportunities, internships, and active student organizations students can engage with.
