The Center for the Study of the Southwest welcomes back our own David Norman for a special reading from his novel, South of Hannah. David Norman was previously the editor of Southwestern American Literature and Texas Books in Review. His novel has already been called the debut of an important new voice in contemporary literature. There will be refreshments and books available for purchase.
David Norman grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He holds an MA in Humanities from New York University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University. His short fiction has appeared in Real South, Image, Gulf Stream, Southern Humanities Review, American Literary Review, and in many other journals and magazines. His debut novel, South of Hannah, received the commendation award from Impress Books.
