Testing Center, Round Rock Location

The Testing Center, Round Rock (TCRR) is in Avery Building, Room 209 on the Texas State University, Round Rock campus located at 1555 University Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78665.

From either direction along University Boulevard in Round Rock, turn at the entrance with the flagpoles and magnolia trees, across the street from the tall cell towers. You can park on either side of the building with your paid parking permit; avoid visitor parking.

  • To the left side of the building is the East perimeter parking and the east entrance to Avery Building which is on the first level by the stairwell and elevator. Proceed to the second level, turn right and you are at the Testing Center, Round Rock.
  • To the right and behind the building is the event parking lot located in front of a two-story metal building. Walk to the back entrance of Avery Building to use the south side doors. The second level is the ground level on this side of the building. Go past the stairwell and glass elevator to enter the east wing. You will pass the Bobcat Den (cafeteria) on your right and the restrooms on your left. Turn left at the end of the hallway. Continue to the Testing Center Round Rock.

TXST Round Rock Campus Parking

To avoid a parking fine, you must be dropped off or have a current TXST parking permit. Do not park in faculty, maintenance, or visitor parking spaces. Disabled parking is on the East or West side of the Avery Building and requires a TXST parking permit as well as a valid disabled permit.

To purchase a one-day $5 parking permit, download onto your computer or smartphone the AMP Park app. Use the app to pay with your credit/debit card and vehicle information. Follow the Pay-by-App instructions provided by the TXST Parking Department. The closest parking to the Testing Center, Round Rock is the East Perimeter lot just to the east of Avery Building.
