*The Letter of Application should clarify your interest for the CSSW Editorial Fellowship, explaining why you are qualified for the position, and describing why your interests in the Southwest, from both a personal and academic perspective, make you a good fit for the CSSW.
The position is open to anyone working on a graduate degree at Texas State who has strong writing and editing skills and an interest in the Southwest. Applicants must not currently hold any other position on campus (IA, GA, GRA, etc.). Additionally, any applicants who have previously received the Graduate College's "one-time enrollment" exemption will not be eligible. Preference is given to candidates who also have experience working in InDesign and Photoshop.
The Fellowship consists of an GRA position (nine-month appointment) plus a tuition scholarship of $1,500 per semester and some support for research and conference travel.
