Research Interests:
My research interests include gender, race, and political history in the United States during the 20th century. More specifically I research carceral policies aimed at women and people of color in the South during the 20th century and how these groups responded to and resisted these policies.
Upcoming Projects
I am currently working on an article that looks at incarcerated women at the State Industrial Farm for Women in Virginia during World War II.
