SWMP & Subsequent Programs

The Texas State University Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) was submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on May 14, 2014. The SWMP was accepted and Texas State was issued permit number TXR040427 on November 12, 2014. To remain in compliance with state and federal regulations, Texas State must submit annual progress reports to TCEQ to verify program compliance.

In 2019, Texas State University submitted an updated version of the existing SWMP to TCEQ for compliance with the MS4 Permit (updated in 2019). In 2021, TCEQ released comments on the SWMP and it was updated again in 2021. The SWMP has been conditionally accepted by TCEQ.
