TXST Symposium on Student Veteran Success
The TXST Symposium on Student Veteran Success is an opportunity for TXST students, faculty, and staff to learn and share best practices for supporting student veterans and their success. The symposium will focus on student veterans, their needs, and building institutional capacity within current support services and for future opportunities. Participants will meet with organizations, offices, resources, and support service opportunities for student veterans.

Presentation
Presentation will provide an overview of Texas State's history of student veteran success initiatives and services. Additionally, presenters will offer a profile of student veterans and their needs as reported in the TXST Needs Assessment Survey Student Veterans. Lastly, presenters will offer recommendation for faculty and staff members seeking to conduct research with veterans or improving services and resources.
Panel
The panel will include representatives from the Veterans Alliance of Texas State, Veterans Academic Success Center, Veterans Affairs, Hays County Veterans Service Office, and Texas Veterans Commission.
