Hopewell Culture Iconographic Workshop
Hosted by Dr. F. Kent Reilly III, the Hopewell Culture Iconographic Workshop began at Texas State University in March 2006.
The Hopewell Culture Iconographic Workshop is now an annual workshop devoted to the study and interpretation of Native American art of the Hopewell Cultural period. The workshop employs a multidisciplinary approach to better understand the intricacies of the Hopewell Culture.
To facilitate this multi-disciplinary approach, participants to the conference will include Anthropologists, Archaeologists, Native Americans, Art Historians and Folklorists.
Future results of the conference will be made available to the public through publications.
