Anthropology Research Conference | Presentation Submission

Please complete the following form to apply to present at the 2025 Anthropology Student Research Conference.

The deadline to apply to present a paper or poster at the conference is Friday March 21, at 11:59 pm

Things to keep in mind:

  • If you are first author or are representing your team of co-authors, then you are considered to be the “corresponding author”.
  • A “paper presentation” means that you will present a 15-min long, oral paper to a live audience with an optional visual aid such as Powerpoint slides or some other presentation technology. Please ensure that your presentation is no more and no less that 15 minutes, ie. Use the entire time allotted to you and do not take more than 15 minutes.
  • A “poster presentation” means that you will stand in front of your 3 x 4-foot poster that is hung on the second floor of the Evans Liberal Arts building from 12-1:30 and discuss your project with conference attendees that visit each poster.
  • Applicants will be notified of acceptance and given the schedule of presentations on March 28.
  • Submission of an abstract and application does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Plan to attend the entire session in which you are presenting in support and consideration of your fellow presenters.

We will try to honor time preferences but cannot guarantee them
