Homecoming Service Project

Overview: School Supply Drive

This year’s philanthropic competition will include collecting school supply items for Teacher’s Reuse.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary and recognize Texas State University’s beginnings as a teacher’s college, student organizations are encouraged to participate in a school supply drive. Donations will go to Teachers Reuse, a local nonprofit that provides teacher and student supplies to teachers from K-12 school around the Hays County region.

How to participate:
Student organizations can gain points for their donations by dropping them off at Student Involvement & Engagement and at various homecoming events.

Deadline for donation drop-off:

Thursday, November 14, 2024
6:00 PM

Competition Guidelines:

Each item will be credited towards the organization’s point total.

  1. The list of items that are acceptable are at the end of the competition packet or can be picked up at the Student Involvement and Engagement desk.
  2. Items not on the list will not be accepted.
