Giving Tuesaday
What is giving Tuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar. #GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season: a reminder of the “reason for the season.”
Who are you helping by donating to Mathworks?
All money raised during the week between now and giving Tuesday will be added to the fund that goes to support students in our camps. Every bit of money helps a student with financial need attend our camps where they can learn new ways of doing math.

For our 29th year Mathworks has set a goal of $29,000; this amount would provide full scholarships for 72 campers at our Half-Day Junior Summer Math Camp.
Last Summer, 73% of the students who attended the camp were awarded financial aid. Of those who received scholarships 49% were for the full tuition amount. None of this could be possible without the support of our kind and generous donors.
