MATHEMATICS, MAGIC & MYSTERY!

Mayor Daniel Guerrero proclaims April as Mathematics Awareness Month in honor of the dedicated teachers, administrators and innovative school curricula at the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, as well as Texas State University’s Department of Mathematics, and Texas Mathworks for providing a mathematical foundation for tomorrow’s citizens and leaders. In July of 2013, Texas Mathworks sponsored the world champion Primary Math World Contest (PMWC) team in international competition in Hong Kong.
