Siemens Foundation Supports the Mathworks Endowment Campaign

San Marcos, TX - May 23 2011

The Siemens Foundation has announced a $25,000 donation to Texas Mathworks of Texas State University - San Marcos.  Funds will support the Mathworks "Legacy Campaign", an endowment that establishes permanent support for Mathworks' core programs that impact middle and high school students in advanced mathematics.  

"We are honored to once again receive the support of the Siemens Foundation.  This donation to the Mathworks Legacy Campaign will help establish and sustain our efforts in the years ahead.  The Siemens Foundation has been a critical partner to Mathworks, providing opportunities to young students to do high-level mathematics," said Dr. Max Warshauer, Director of Mathworks and Regents Professor of Mathematics. 

Students in the Mathworks program are among the top performers in mathematics in the U.S. and we are proud to support them as they strive for excellence. Mathworks is an exceptional program, fostering student achievement in high-level mathematics.
