Silicon Labs Supports STEM Learning Opportunities in Mathworks Honors Summer Math Camp
May 2, 2016 – San Marcos
Silicon Labs has pledged its fifth year of support for the Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC) program hosted by Mathworks at Texas State University. Funding will support science and math learning opportunities for students of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds during the six-week residential summer math program. In the HSMC program, students have opportunities to conduct original math and science research mentored by university faculty as well as industry professionals. SiLab’s funding will also support the entrepreneurship component of the HSMC program, in which teams of students pitch their original business ideas to a panel of judges.
