  • Twice-a-year luncheons and Annual Bobcat Prowl 5K Run/Walk.
  • Day trips to places like Fredericksburg (LBJ National Park, shopping, lunch, wineries) and Shiner (tour of Painted Churches, brewery, lunch).
  • Receptions and talks with coaches prior to various sports events.
  • Plays/concerts on campus.
  • Our creative members continue to come up with other activities! We’re open to new ideas.

Active Membership

is open to all retired members of the Texas State faculty, administrative officers (unclassified) & staff, spouses, or partners of living and deceased retirees.

Associate Membership

Retired faculty and staff members of other accredited colleges or universities may become Associate, non-voting members upon application to the Association.

Continued Membership

Active or Associate Members shall remain members as long as they desire and remain in good standing.
Greeting

Some of What We Do

  • Provides scholarships to Texas State students which started in 2009.
  • Participates in the Veteran’s Day Parade, Bobcat Pause, the Retirement Fair, and the President’s New Retiree Reception.
  • Monitors meetings of Faculty Senate and Staff Council for discussions of interest to retirees.
  • Maintains contact with Human Resources for pertinent information to pass on to members.
  • Connects with retirees with medical or personal needs through our Care Committee.
