Check-In Procedures for the TEMC Testing Labs

  1. Follow the registration instructions for the exam you will take.
  2. Pay required test fees online or in-person at Nueces Building, First Floor, Room 101 for the San Marcos location or Avery Building Room 209 for the Round Rock location.
  3. Present a photo ID. All examinees must present photo identification (driver's license, military ID, student ID, passport or other government agency issued ID) for all testing programs administered by the TEMC. The IDs must be a physical ID card and not a photo of one displayed on a cell phone. Theme park IDs, club membership IDs, social security cards, birth certificates, temporary driver's license without a photo, and credit cards with or without a photo are not considered acceptable forms of identification. The testing agency may have additional requirements. See your confirmation email for additional information.
CLEP, TCEQ, and THEA-IBT have specific requirements. Visit CLEP ID Requirements, TCEQ ID Requirements, and THEA-IBT ID Requirements for information.
  4. At the San Marcos location, you will be asked to bring identification and receipt to the testing lab in Nueces Building, First Floor, Room 103.
