San Marcos Campus

The nearest visitor parking is in the Edward Gary Street Garage, located at 405 N. Edward Gary St. There is a fee for parking in this garage. Fees range from $3 for the first hour to $14 for six hours.

To get to TEMC in Nueces Hall from the Edward Gary Street Garage:

  • Exit the garage on the west side onto N. LBJ St. Turn right and proceed north on N. LBJ St. After crossing Woods St. the street becomes a pedestrian-only path.
  • After passing Retama Hall, the next building on the left is Nueces. Go around to the north side of the building to the main entrance.

To get to TEMC in Nueces from the Edward Gary Street Garage:

  • Exit the garage onto Edward Gary Street. Turn left toward campus. Turn left after Sterry Hall, and follow the green space to the next street.
  • Turn right on N. LBJ Street. Cross Woods Street and continue up the path.
  • Nueces is the second building on your left with a railing around it. Turn left after the building to find the main entrance.

Round Rock Campus

The TXST University, Testing Center, Round Rock (TCRR) is located at 1555 University Blvd., Avery Bldg., Room 209, Round Rock, Texas 78665. If you need help with directions or parking, call us at 512-716-4020.

To avoid a parking fine, you must be dropped off or have a current TXST parking permit. Do not park in faculty, maintenance, or visitor parking spaces. Disabled parking is on the East or West side of the Avery Building and requires a TXST parking permit as well as a valid disabled permit.

To purchase a one-day $5 parking permit, download onto your computer or smartphone the AMP Park app. Use the app to pay with your credit/debit card and vehicle information. Follow the Pay-by-App instructions provided by the TXST Parking Department. The closest parking to the Testing Center, Round Rock is the East Perimeter lot just to the east of Avery Building.

If you are unable to use the AMP Park app, you may park in the gated event parking lot on the west side of the Round Rock campus, near the Campus Service Building. Take the parking slip from the kiosk at the gate. You will use this slip and your debit/credit card to pay the one-day, $5 parking fee as you leave the lot.
