In order to serve students in the best way possible, there are different types of US 1100 sections offered in the spring semester.  Please view the options below to find the description that best fits you.

First-Year Sections

Find US 1100 sections for first-year students.

Non First-Year Sections

Find US 1100 sections for AFTER YOUR FIRST-YEAR if you have not taken University Seminar and need it to graduate OR if you need to repeat University Seminar.

    • Spring 2025 section of US 1100 is a fully distance course that begins the 2nd-8 weeks of the semester. Students will need Dept Approval to register. Please contact our office for the override. This section is not visible in Catsweb, students will need to register using its CRN when granted approval.

  • First-Year 2024-2025 RESILIENCY

      • First-year students who are on academic probation after the fall semester and did not successfully complete University Seminar

       

    • These sections are not visible in Catsweb, so you will need to register using its CRN.

      Use the following instructions to add US 1100 to your schedule:

      Go To CATSWEB > My Registration and Class Schedule > Student> Registration > Registration – Add/Drop Courses > Register or Change Schedule > Select a Term > Click on the “Enter CRNs” tab >  Enter CRN (Five digit number above that corresponds to the class you want) > Click Add to Summary> Click the “Submit” button on the bottom of the screen.

      You should be given a notification in the top right of your screen that confirms your registration. 

      Congratulations! You are now registered for your class. Should you receive an error message instead of the “Save Successful” message, make sure there are no registration holds on your account. If you do have holds, please contact the office that has placed the hold.
