Summer Sections

In order to serve students in the best way possible, there are different types of US 1100 sections offered during the summer semester.  Please view the options below to find the description that best fits you. If you have questions please call our office.

  • Non-Senior Classification Students (Excluding FTIC2025-FTIC 2026)

      • First-year students who entered Texas State University in Fall 2024 and did not take University Seminar in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 (Excluding FTIC2025-FTIC 2026). 
      • Non First-year students who are not classified as a senior at time of registration.
    • Summer 2025 section of US 1100 is a fully distance course that is for the full term of semester, May 27th-Auguest 1st.

      Students can use the following instructions to add US 1100 to their schedule:

      Go To CATSWEB > My Registration and Class Schedule > Student> Registration > Registration – Add/Drop Courses > Register or Change Schedule > Select a Term > Click on the “Enter CRNs” tab > Enter CRN (Five digit number above that corresponds to the class you want) > Click Add to Summary> Click the “Submit” button on the bottom of the screen

      You should be given a notification at the top right of your screen that confirms your registration.

       

       

       

  • Senior Classification Students

      • Students who are listed as a senior at time of registration.
    • Summer 2025 section of US 1100 is a fully distance course that is for the full term of semester, May 27th-Auguest 1st.
