This checklist is for advising purposes for BGS students only.
Consult your undergraduate catalog or official degree audit for degree requirements.
- Twelve advanced hours in the minor coursework are required for the BGS.
- A 2.25 cumulative GPA must be maintained in all minor courses.
- No grade lower than a “C” will be accepted as credit for BGS minors.
- Course rotation indications are intended to be used for planning purposes and do not guarantee course availability. "F" indicates "fall," "S" indicates "spring," and "Su" indicates "summer" availability.

NOTE: FM 2330, FM 2334, FM 2335, FM 2337 will not fulfill the BGS requirement for advanced coursework.
- _____ FM 2330 - Aesthetics and Branding (F, S) (Prerequisite: FM 1330 with a grade of “C” or higher)
- _____ FM 2334 – Fashion Product Analysis (Prerequisite: FM 1330 and FM 1332 both with grades of "C" or better.)
- _____ FM 2335 – Gender, Appearance, and Society
- _____ FM 2337 – Global Manufacturing and Logistics (Prerequisite: FM 1330 and FM 1332 both with grades of "C" or better.)
- _____ FM 3330 - Fashion Buying Principles I (F, S) (Prerequisites: FM 2336 - will waive FM 2336 prerequisite for minors; and MATH 1315 or MATH 1316 or MATH 1319, all with a grade of "D" or better.)
- _____ FM 3333 - Merchandise Presentation and Planning (F, S) (Prerequisites: FM 2330 and FM 2336 with a grade of “C” or better - will waive FM 2336 prerequisite for minors.)
- _____ FM 3334 - Fashion Merchandising Administration (F, S) (Prerequisite: FM 1330 with a grade of "C" or better.)
- _____ FM 3335 – History of Fashion (F)
- _____ FM 3336 – Modern Fashion Trends (F, S)
- _____ FM 4320 - Fashion Merchandising in Domestic Markets (SU) (Repeatable for credit with different emphasis.)
- _____ FM 4337 - Fashion Merchandising (Prerequisites: FM 1330 and FM 2330 and FM 3330 and FM 3334, all with a grade of "C" or better, or consent of instructor.)
- _____ FM 4338 - Enterprise Development (F, S, SU)
- _____ FM 4339 (WI) - Fashion Economics (F, S) (Prerequisite: ECO 2301 or ECO 2315 or ECO 2314, all with a grade of "D" or better, and FM 1330 and FM 1332, all with a grade of "C" or better.)
- _____ FM 4340 - Fashion Merchandising in International Markets (Repeatable for credit with different emphasis.)
