Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Physical Chemistry at the Assistant Professor rank for Fall 2022. The successful candidate will teach physical chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and establish/maintain an externally funded, nationally recognized research program involving undergraduate and graduate students. Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Dean of College of Science and Engineering is expanding our efforts to grow into a R1 university by funding a collaborative postdoc with the additional goal of helping to increase participation of underrepresented groups in STEM. Funding includes up to 2 years of salary support ($45K plus health insurance and fringe benefits) and $2400 in funding for research related expenses. The postdoc is limited to doctoral recipients who are pursuing academic careers. Successful applicants will have the potential to contribute to faculty diversity in their academic disciplines.
