Distribution of Magnetic properties in a StrontiumFerrite PA12 filament

I'm studying the distribution of the magnetic properties of hard magnetic 3D printer filament. Measurements are made with a VSM on samples that are taken along the cylindrical and the radial axis of the filament. Although the magnetic properties are very constitent along the length of the filament, I expect the magnetic properties in the r-direction to vary with r as the strontinum ferrite platelets are more strongly aligned along the outer diameter of the filament by the shear flow during the extrusions process. As the project develops more will be reported on this website.
