Every picture tells a story...
I shot this photo to illustrate the start of rush hour traffic.
Then I noticed in the right hand side of the picture there were these two kids under the ECO sign (blue shirt and orange shirt) lifting weights, completely oblivious to the traffic...
However, the most telling story emerged out of the bottom left corner where I saw this family on a motorbike beginning the left hand turn that will eventually join them with the main flow of traffic. Is it any surprise that a large number of emergency department traumatic brain injuries in Ha Noi hospitals are age 6 and under? Helmet laws say you must wear a helmet beginning at age 7 yrs.
I shot this picture because I liked the illusion created by the concave surface underneath the bridge.
Then I noticed this young boy pointing at the man sleeping on his motor bike. The boy seems to be laughing!
But the best story is the Michelin Man hitching a ride on the back of this guy's bike!
I took this picture because I thought it was interesting to see a police officer (green) and a traffic officer (tan) hanging out together on a corner.
But then I noticed that not only was he was staring right back at me, so was the person behind him in the store front window.
However, I think the the best story was me caught incognito in the mirror...
I liked how the arrows on the barrier and the descending stairwell seemed to add a sense of motion to the car and the motorbikes in the bottom of this photo!...
Then I noticed in this window decoration that there was motion in the opposite direction as the bird flew away from the branches...
But the motion did not stop there as my eye was drawn upward to this little pagoda on the top of this house!
