The Educational Leadership Program offers excellent certification options for those educational leaders who hold a Master's degree and wish to expand their learning while gaining the necessary licensure to continue in their professional pursuits. Post Master's Principal Certification This program is for candidates who already possess a master’s degree in an education-related field. It consists of 18 hours (6 classes), including two semesters of internship, leading to certification as a school administrator (pending passage of the TExES state certifying exam). The superintendent certification program is designed for educators wanting to prepare themselves for leadership as either a superintendent of schools or for service in other district leadership positions.
