Full-time graduate student is 9 hours or more.

How to Type on a PDF

1. Download the PDF to your computer.*
2. Click on Fill & Sign.
3. Click on where you would like to type.
4. Be sure to save your document so you can submit it later.

* How to download a PDF on a PC

1.  Right-click on the link to the document.
2. Select “Save Target As” or “Save Link As.”
3. Save the document to your hard drive. ...
4. Open Adobe Reader. When Adobe Reader is open, go to File, then to Open, then to where you saved the document.

* How to download a PDF on a Mac

1. Some web browsers display PDFs in the browser window. Other web browsers download PDFs to your computer, or ask whether you want to view the PDF or download it. 
2. If your web browser displays the PDF but you want to save it to your computer, choose File > Save As.
3. You can use Preview (Mac) or a third-party PDF reader such as Adobe Reader (Mac or PC) to view PDF manuals that you've saved to your computer.

* How to download a PDF on an iPad

1. To save a PDF file to an iPad from email, put your finger on the document and wait for a menu to pop up.
2. Then select "Open in iBooks" and it will be saved into the iBooks app on your iPad.
3. To save a PDF document from the browser, tap near the top of the document in the iPad browser window and choose "Open in iBooks."

* How to download a PDF to an Android phone or tablet

1. You may already have software on your Android device that reads PDFs (like Adobe Acrobat, Google Drive PDF reader, Quick Office Viewer, Hancom Office, Dropbox PDF Viewer, etc.).
2. Your device will ask you which PDF reader you would prefer to use.
3. Select the reader of your choice.
4. The document will open, and it is automatically saved as a download.
5. Using Adobe Acrobat, you can click on the capital letter T.  (no underline or strikethrough).  This will allow you to type on the PDF.
