Counseling Professionals:
Chi Sigma Iota is now accepting presentation proposals for the 11th Annual Kaleidoscope of Counseling Conference taking place Friday April 9, 2021 & Saturday April 10, 2021 on the Texas State University campus. This professional conference covers a vast array of subjects and is co-sponsored by the Professional Counseling Program at Texas State University.
Program Proposal Directions:
Format: Submit the program proposal in a MS Word document.
Program Title: Should clearly and accurately describe the focus of the presentation.
Program Description: Provide 100 words or less, clearly describing the presentation content, goals, and what participants can expect to take away. This description will appear in the conference program.
Program Objectives: Provide 3-4 objectives as to what participants will learn in your presentation.
Type of Session: All sessions will be 60 minutes in length.
Presenters: Provide complete contact information for the lead presenter including: name, credentials, institutional or company affiliation, mailing address, day and evening phone number, and email address. The lead presenter will be the contact person for conference communication. In addition, provide complete contact information for each co-presenter for the program, including name, credentials, institutional affiliation, and email address. Please include a short biography of the lead presenter as well, being sure to include education and clinical experience.
Submission: Proposals are due by January 10, 2021. Selected presenters will be notified by February 1, 2021.
Please note:
Presenter and/or co-presenter may appear on no more than two proposals.
All lead and co-presenters must register for the conference.
Presentations encouraging the solicitation of materials or services will not be accepted.
